Team Comments
(strengths, weaknesses)
“Overall,
we should be a solid dual meet team and top 3 tournament team. We have the most state placers back in team
history(3), yet still have young and
inexperience wrestlers in some weight
classes, but newcomers have been very successful at
the Middle school, JV level and have
filled in at the varsity last year and won matches. We have 3 State Placers back: Adam Melton,
Timmy Miller, and Luke Busson and State Qualifier
Josh McInturff. We have a unique group of 9 seniors
who care a lot about wrestling and have strong moral character. This should guarantee a fun and enjoyable
season. We have 8 District Qualifiers
back. Also the coaching staff has been
intact for the last 11 years. ”
